Footless tights or Capri tights are very much a current trend, worn by all the fashion conscious celebrities. They are great dressed up with heels or dressed down with flat ballet pumps. Wear them with smart dresses or casual tunics or denim minis, they look great every day or for special occasions, in fact just about any time.
Wear classic black or go for bold in bright, opaque colours. Wear animal print or lace, or follow the celebs and go for on-trend wet look leggings. Religion do some fabulous black footless wet look leggings, they are super shiny and reflect the light well to flatter your legs. They are 50 denier so they’ll keep your legs warm and cosy while allowing you to show off your feet in a pair of heels. They also do cropped footless tights in a similar range of colours and stirrup footless tights, this season’s must-have accessory. Moving on from ski pants of the 80’s stirrup tights have made a come back this season and are available in an array of colours. Team them with mini-shorts and a vintage style t-shirt for a casual city chic look or wear them with a little black dress and killer heels for a touch of glamour.
Pretty Polly also does some fabulous ski pant tights, in shimmering blue or matte black. They also do some extra opaque footless tights that are perfect between seasons for under those city shorts or for a special do with a glamorous sparkly dress and heels. If you fancy a change from the plain and want to look bang up to date go for some lace footless tights such as Cette’s Kingston lace footless tights with adjustable cuffs and waistband so you can wear them on the hips or at the waist, as Capri pants or to the ankle. They are black lace with a repetitive leaf and vine pattern with a slight sheen to make them all the more glamorous.
If you want to spice up your wardrobe you could always go for a pair of Jonathon Aston fabulously funky animal print footless tights. They look best dressed down with a denim mini and flat shoes or dressed up with a plain little black dress. Jonathon Aston also does some funky, futuristic metallic footless tights. These are very now and set off a plain outfit fantastically, and as they are sheer to the waist you can wear them with the shortest of minis. They are available in gold, silver and bronze so you’re a medal winner whichever colour you choose.
